Quality, individualized mental health care aimed at helping you achieve increased wellbeing, self-trust, and empowerment. Specializations include disordered eating, body image and/or eating struggles.
If you have noticed that thoughts about food and body image consume more of your time and energy than you would like, contact me for current groups and learn skills for coping with the emotions that surround your relationship with food.
I offer supervision for MSW students and LCSWs without an LICSW present within their agencies to provide clinical consultation on cases and grow into the clinicians they hope to become.
Looking to make your work environment, school, or other agency more inclusive of diverse bodies? Want to learn about promoting a healthy relationship with food and body acceptance, especially for the purpose of preventing eating disorders? Get in touch and let's work together.
Please fill out the contact form. Kindly write a sentence or two about why you are seeking therapy at this time.
Please allow 48 business hours to review your form. You will then receive an email from me to schedule our 15-minute consultation phone call.
I will call you at the agreed upon time. We’ll have a 15 minute chat about what you are looking for and whether I’d be a good fit as your therapist.
My fee is $185/hour for regular sessions; $225 for the initial intake.
The 15 minute phone consultation is free.
Common themes indicating that therapy could be helpful for you are not feeling like yourself, relationships suffering, spending a lot of time thinking about how you’re feeling. Therapy can really benefit anyone as a useful tool for coping and improving overall functioning. (It’s also just nice to have an impartial person to talk to confidentially!)
Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes long and are usually scheduled weekly. Weekly sessions will help us work towards your goals in an efficient way, especially at the beginning. As therapy progresses, we can work together to determine whether fewer sessions (i.e., every other week) are needed.
