Individual Therapy

Quality, individualized mental health care aimed at helping you achieve increased wellbeing, self-trust, and empowerment. Specializations include disordered eating, body image and/or eating struggles.

If you have noticed that thoughts about food and body image consume more of your time and energy than you would like, contact me for current groups and learn skills for coping with the emotions that surround your relationship with food.

Virtual Group Therapy

I offer supervision for MSW students and LCSWs without an LICSW present within their agencies to provide clinical consultation on cases and grow into the clinicians they hope to become.

How do I know if I need therapy?

Common themes indicating that therapy could be helpful for you are not feeling like yourself, relationships suffering, spending a lot of time thinking about how you’re feeling. Therapy can really benefit anyone as a useful tool for coping and improving overall functioning. (It’s also just nice to have an impartial person to talk to confidentially!)

back

How long are sessions and how frequently will I be seen?

Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes long and are usually scheduled weekly. Weekly sessions will help us work towards your goals in an efficient way, especially at the beginning. As therapy progresses, we can work together to determine whether fewer sessions (i.e., every other week) are needed.

back

Can I meet with you in person?

Currently, all of my clients are seen via Telehealth.

back

How can I tell if you are the right therapist for me?

The most important factor in a successful therapist/client match is the relationship; if you feel safe and like you want to be vulnerable (even if you’re not yet ready to be), we will likely do well working together.

back

How do I get the most out of a Telehealth session?

  • Check your internet connectivity
  • Find a private space where you won’t be seen or overheard
  • Find a comfortable chair or place to sit and have water and tissues on hand
back

can i meet with you from anywhere?

  • You must be within the states of Massachusetts or Maine during all Telehealth Sessions
